5 GHz channel availability, 160 MHz position and 6 GHz (WiFi 6E) status by country / regulatory domain. Search or filter live — data comes from the /api/countries endpoint.
| Country | Framework | 36–48 | 52–64 | 100–144 | 149–165 | 160 MHz | 6 GHz |
|---|
The six regulatory frameworks that decide how 5 GHz channels and 6 GHz (WiFi 6E) behave.
UNII-1 (36–48) & UNII-3 (149–165) are DFS-free and high-power. UNII-2 (52–144) needs DFS.
Indoor-only below 5.7 GHz. UNII-2 needs DFS. UNII-3 (149–165) generally NOT enabled for WiFi.
UNII-2C (100–144) is MISSING entirely. 160 MHz only fits in 36–64. 6 GHz not opened. 5.8G (149–165) is strong & DFS-free.
Like ETSI but with its own W52/W53/W56 bands. UNII-3 (149–165) NOT enabled. 6 GHz lower band opened.
Follows FCC channel plan and opened the FULL 6 GHz band — best WiFi 6E experience outside the US.
5 GHz broadly allowed (5150–5875). 6 GHz allocation still pending.
This Worker exposes a small JSON API. Base URL is the Worker origin; all paths are under /api.
/api/countries
List all countries. Query params: framework, ghz6 (full|lower|not opened|pending), q (name/code).
/api/countries/:code
Single country with its full framework detail. e.g. /api/countries/CN
/api/frameworks · /api/frameworks/:id
Framework definitions (FCC / ETSI / CN / JP / KR / IN).
/api/health
Liveness check.
